Key Dates
Key Dates are a new feature in HoudiniESQ 1.8.7. In our experience working with firms, we have found that most of them will require several different customized Date fields to specify important dates to a Matter, such as when a case is going to trial or when the client has submitted valuable information. Rather than having to add these custom fields to each Type and Subtype of the Matter record, we have introduced this feature to help you keep track of such important dates.
Key Dates can be labeled from the Organization Settings, in the General tab. There are 5 fields which you can apply labels to. Enter the labels you wish to use and click Save.

Once the Key Date labels have been configured, they will be accessible on the right-hand side of the Matter. By default they will be hidden; clicking the Key Dates sidebar will expand them and display them on the right side of the form. Simply enter the dates corresponding to the assigned labels and click Save.
