Group Memberships

Users can be assigned to one or more groups based on their job roles and their access rights in the system. The system allows for the addition and removal of an unlimited number of groups.
The following table list some of the core groups and roles. These core groups can not be deleted since all of them are tied to access areas of the application.

Staff |
Everyone is part of the Staff group |

Administrator |
Members of this group have access the the organization settings and administrators panel in the system |

Super User |
Member of this group can view/edit any Matter/Case/Complaint in the system. Members to this group should be limited to specific management staff. The Exception is cases that are in Mediation. |
|
Mediation |
Members of this group can view/edit a Matter/Case/Complaint that is in Mediation, ONLY if they are Matter Members to the case. |
The following table list some specific DFEH Staff Groups. These Groups will have Automated Triggers assigned to enforce DFEH business rules. For example, changing the status of a Matter/Case/Complaint to Mediation will restrict all users from accessing the Matter/Case/Complaint if they are not members of the Mediation Group.

Members of this group can be auto assigned a Matter/Case/Complaint. |

Management |
Members of this group have access to specialized reports and can re-assign Matter/Case/Complaints to other staff. |
