HoudiniESQ for Microsoft Word

Works with SaaS and On-premise versions Solo, Practice and Elite.

This plug-in creates a HoudiniESQ menu in the Microsoft Word ribbon.
Open and save Word documents directly to the HoudiniESQ server. It can also automatically create a billable event when you save the file.

Benefits:
Bill as you work, no uploading and downloading of Word documents. Documents are automatically linked to their associated Matter.

System Requirement:
You MUST be running HoudiniESQ 1.5n or above and have Microsoft Word 2007or above.

 

Windows 7 Users

Installation Instructions:
We use the latest Microsoft ClickOnce deployment technology. You must use Internet Explorer 8 and add our website to your trusted site list for this installation.

1. Internet Explorer is the only supported browser for this installation. Please start IE.
2. From IE, Select Tools, Internet Options, and then select Security Tab, click on "Trusted Sites", click on Sites button, and enter

http://www.houdiniesquire.com (NOT houdiniesq.com)

Make sure you uncheck SSL checkbox (THIS STEP iS VERY IMPORTANT)
3. Now you are ready to install. To start, click here to install. During the installation, click the Install button if you are prompted.
4. Open Microsoft Word, you will be asked to enter your HoudiniESQ account info. This is one-time setup only.
5. You should remove http://www.houdiniesquire.com from your trusted list after the installation completes.
