Houdini ESQ Certified Consultants
The ESQ CC Program is for distinguished legal technology engineers. These independent ESQ consultants have a proven implementation, customization, training, consulting and support capabilities for the legal industry and hold one of two certifications. RequirementsAll ESQ CC Program applicants must complete at least 8 hours of HoudiniESQ boot camp training. After completing the HoudiniESQ boot camp training the applicant may sign a ESQ CC agreement. There are no fees for the boot camp training and all applicants are under no obligation to stay with the program. LOGICBit offers several advanced training sessions that can be taken at anytime once the applicant has completed the required 8 hours of boot camp training and has signed a ESQ CC agreement. 7 days after completion of one or more of the advanced training sessions the applicant may take either the Consultant or Masters certification exams. The exams may be retaken no sooner than 30 days after the last exam date. To become a member of the ESQ CC program and to take advantage of all its benefits the applicant must successfully pass either the Consultant or Masters certification. |
Certification
Distinguished ESQ Consultant
The Distinguished ESQ Consultant certification requires competency in the areas of licensing, configuration, deployment, security, training and the customization of HoudiniESQ in both large and small enterprises for both the Self Host and SaaS models.
Familiarity with the underlying technology leveraged by HoudiniESQ Practice and HoudiniESQ Elite.
In addition competency must be shown in the areas of

Distinguished ESQ Master (HoudiniESQ 2.0)
The Distinguished ESQ Master certification requires competency in the areas of licensing, configuration, deployment, security, training and the customization of HoudiniESQ in both large and small enterprises for both the Self Host and SaaS models.
Familiarity with the underlying technology leveraged by HoudiniESQ Practice and HoudiniESQ Elite.

Custom widget creation providing unique visualizations of a firms legal practice data including data from local and external services that may be mashed up.
Houdini ETM™
Create custom event triggers to produce custom workflow's that leverage widgets, services and the HoudiniESQ core.
Houdini DESCXML™
Ability to edit and configure services using the simple Houdini DESC Markup language.

Important: You may only obtain free support for areas that are covered in your certification. For example if you hold a Consultant certification you are not entitled to free HoudiniEM2 support since you must be a certified Master to use HoudiniEM2. You may however purchase a incident support ticket at any time.
Commission plan - Practice and Elite only
All independent HoudiniESQ consultants in good standing are entitled to 20% commission of the net license purchase which includes server and seat licenses. Commissions are paid only on the initial purchase. See buy purchase for current pricing
Commission plan - SaaS
All independent HoudiniESQ consultants in good standing are entitled to 20% commission of the net monthly fees collected annually. See buy signup for current pricing
Sales Quota
The ESQ CC program does not require ESQ consultants to meet any sales quota. We view you as an extension of our professional services team not a sales force.
Fees
The ESQ CC program annual fee is $320 per year to cover program maintenance cost.
Re certification not required subsequent years unless new technology is introduced into the product and will require specialized training.
